A five-year denial would probably indicate he's been in some trouble. From what I've seen, if an inmate takes positive steps then they don't turn them down for that long a period.

Doubt he'll ever see release...soon as his name is brought up to any parole board, his connection to Manson will be right there for them to see and his chances will evaporate
